You are always able to employ Analytics to better your content through studying your site’s bounce rate. Having a high bounce rate, especially if you’re selling something online, isn’t a good thing. Bounce rate is nothing but the percentage of people who visit the page and immediately leave the website. And this means lost revenue opportunity, which must be avoided at all costs. Google Analytics can report what your bounce rate is, and you can use that information to get the advantage over your competition.

Myriads of means of following your visitors and watching additional kinds of relevant data exist. Google, and its entire company, gives its whole-hearted support to Analytics. Keep your online account safe

November 22nd, 2009 4 Comments   Posted in Tips

stop stealing Protect your important data from phisher! I read so many sad stories about people can’t access their online account because someone has hijacked their account. The worst cases are when hijacker can get inside into your online bank or online payment processor like paypal and take all the balance. Leave you nothing but pain.

What is phishing?

According to Wiki: phishing is the criminally fraudulent process of attempting to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords and credit card details by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication.

Thieves will always try to collect your important data like username, password, credit card number, etc. That’s why we must be very careful to maintain our account.

Some tips to avoid phishing scam:

1. Never click on a link from untrusted site. It’s better if you keep your important site address in a bookmark, and only use that bookmark to redirect you to the real site.

2. If you get email from your (fake) online service provider, examine the url of the link. You may read the message but do not use any link form that email to login to your account. Use your bookmark!

3. Use third party tool like RoboForm to keep your login account and generate hard-to-guessed password. RoboForm is small application to help you to safely keep credential informations like username, password, credit cards detail, etc. You can download Roboform for free or read more about it at RoboForm official site.

4. If you mainly access your account from public computer, remember to delete all cookies and also beware of hidden application like keylogger. You can use Portable RoboForm in your flashdisk so you don’t have to type any information that keylogger try to steal. You can access your account with a single click.

Cash for Search, how to cash out fast

November 21st, 2009 No Comments   Posted in Paid to Search

After register in MySearchFunds, I did couple of search using MSF. I must admit that Google.com still have better search result than Ask.com but my main purpose is not looking for search result. It’s CASH from the very beginning! So the search result is not as good as Google but still related to key search and has other value too :duit: Yeah.. Cash for Search!

From daily searches I made, I know the earning per search is fluctuate. It’s not a fixed rate. But the minimum amount is £0.01 (I’ve test it with one search). Let’s calculate how or when we can withdraw from MSF. You see.. the minimum amount to withdraw is £20. So in order to get paid in 30 days then you need to earn £0.67 each day (£20 ÷ 30days). To get £0.67, at least need 67 searches to be done.

It is doable but you need to be careful here or you’ll be caught as frauding. Make your search as natural as can be.

Some tips in MySearchFunds

  1. Natural search. Means, you did your search just for the money. Click one or two of the result. Follow the link and keep it open for about 2 minutes. Click any link on the page.
  2. Do not use searchbot.
  3. Get referrals as much as possible. Lots of referrals will generate nice passive income for you.

Good luck to you all.. Happy searching :D

Prepare your feeds for adsense

July 21st, 2008 5 Comments   Posted in Adsense

Adsense is now testing new ads format for feeds. This “Adsense for feed” only available for several handpicked publisher by adsense team. I think this will open for all publisher in short time. While waiting for the opportunity to come, here’s some tips to get ready for Adsense for feeds.

Content quality: You will earn Google AdSense revenue only if people subscribe to your feed. The more subscriptions you get, the better are your chances of success with AdSense for feeds. Since most people would be looking for quality content, you need to make sure that your feed contains up-to-date quality information that is presented to the users in an easy-to-understand language. Besides that, the feeds should be free from grammatical and spelling mistakes.

Content quantity: Include as much content in your feeds as you possibly can. Again, the aim is prove that the feed is useful and comprehensive (so that more users subscribe to it). If you feel that the complete article cannot go into the feed, include a good summary of the article.

Limit the ad units: If the users find that your feeds contain too much Ads, they might not subscribe to your feeds at all (and the whole purpose of feeds would get defeated). In order to ensure that you get good subscription to your feeds, you should limit the ad units to one per feed. Another good way of ensuring that your feeds don’t look like an advertising medium is to place the Ads either at the end of article or after having sufficiently discussed the topic.
