How to send full traffic to your blog

First step to meet before climbing your success in Online Business is Traffic or visitor. We put a lot of efforts like on page and off page SEO optimization, spending dollars to advertise, regularly add quality and unique post. And we do that for one reason which is to get traffic to our site.

trafficFor me, organic traffic like what we get from search engine, is most important aspect for starting an online business. After completing the online business concept as perfect as possible, it helps you begin the next step is re-create the concept to bring traffic to your blog. And this is a very tedious process and if it got through it then it is 50% certain your online business will succeed.

So what should we do to get that traffic? In this article I try to share some tips on increasing your blog traffic and help the process of self-branding.

Here are tips on improving your traffic for free:

1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
It’s very much explanation and articles that discuss Search Engine Optimization, and the purpose of SEO is to get Targeted Traffic.

2. Giving Something In Free
To point number 2 this requires a process, because you must create something to give for free. For example, E-Book for free, Free Templates, Wordpress Theme Free and many more. Or better yet, you can run a competition / contest for user to be more interactive with your site.

3. Forum Signature
Forum signatures are a few words or sentences are located at the bottom of your posts on the forum. Try to be active in the forum so you get a good reputation, so that all the attributes attached to the nickname you want to view your Signature including the Forum.

4. Blogwalking
Blogwalking is to make a comment on an article on another blog. There are several objectives of the bloggers do blogwalking them make friends, comment on articles, search for backlinks and also expect a visit back, and from behind this visit you get traffic.

5. Creating Controversy Inviting Articles
Try to create an article that invites controversy and is following the current trends and deploy your writing through blogwalking, forums or social bookmarking. You’ll be surprise with the result :)

6. Being Active on Yahoo Answers
Yahoo Answers is a question and answer service provided by Yahoo! free. You can use this service to increase your blog traffic by answering questions on a given and include a link to your blog.

7. Banner and Link Exchange
This means that you exchange your links or banners with other blogs on the condition that you have to display links or banners other blogs in your blog.

8. Make a Profile on Amazon
The goal is not for business online at Amazon, but you are actively reviewing all existing products on amazon, each review will draw the attention of web visitors who saw the product.

9. Creating Unique Video
Try to make a funny and unique video that can attract thousands of viewer. Include your blog URL at the beginning and end of the video.

10. Ask your Blog in Review
Participate in forums such as Web Development DigitalPoint, Sitepoint, V7N, and so forth. Go to the category of Web Review, and ask for your blog reviewed.

Actually there’s still lot more tips for generating traffic to your site/blog but I prefer to focus in this 10 tips.

Most big sites by default use ‘nofollow’ tags therefore not trusting external links nor users that post those links there. This means that they don’t give any credit (in the form of PageRank) to those links and are essentially considering them spam (as that was ‘officially’ the purpose of ‘nofollow’ tag introduction – actually messing with the blogging community search engine rankings was the real purpose). This results in their pages appearing higher in search engine results and your pages appearing lower.
